Subject: Possible FDA full-time summer internship Description: The Office of Food Additive Safety (OFAS), part of the FDA’s Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN), is looking for candidates for a possible full-time summer internship to update a central database for submissions received concerning food additives, color additives, and food ingredients. Interns will be responsible for collecting and analyzing the transferred information, and will have the opportunity to interact with review scientists in the Office of Food Additive Safety (OFAS) in order to understand and verify the work. There is also opportunity to learn about the scientific and regulatory processes regarding the review of submissions to OFAS. This is not a laboratory position.
