Dear Colleagues,

Following the traditions of the previous ADCHEM symposia held in Toulouse (1991), Kyoto (1994), Banff (1997), Pisa (2000), Hong Kong (2003), Gramado (2006), Istanbul (2009), Singapore (2012), and Whistler (2015), ADCHEM 2018 in Shenyang will bring together researchers and practitioners from all over the world to facilitate discussions of recent developments in the control and modeling of chemical, biomedical, and other process systems.

Dates of ADCHEM 2018: JULY 25-27, 2018

Place: SHENYANG, LIAONING, CHINA

Covering both theory and applications, the Symposium will provide an ideal opportunity for presenting new results and developments in:

• Model-based Control
• Modeling and Identification
• Scheduling and Optimization
• Big Data Analytics and Monitoring
• Batch Processes
• Process Applications
• Energy Processes and Control

ADCHEM is a triennial meeting of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC). ADCHEM 2018 is sponsored by the IFAC Technical Committee on Chemical Process Control and co-sponsored by the IFAC Technical Committees on Non-linear Control Systems, Biosystems and Bioprocesses, and Fault Detection, Supervision and Safety of Technical Processes.

Submission of draft papers, invited sessions & workshops proposals	30 SEP 2017
Acceptance Notification	31 JAN 2018
Submit final papers	31 MARCH 2018
Final program available	30 APR 2018

Three plenary talks will be presented and 12 keynotes will be selected mostly from submitted papers. Workshops, invited sessions and posters are encouraged as well.

An IFAC Young Author Award will be awarded to authors of a paper.

Outstanding papers will be selected for possible publication as a special issues in Journal of Process Control.
