Subject: Now accepting submissions for the Library Award for Undergraduate Research Description: Dear undergraduate students, UMD Libraries are now accepting submissions for the Library Award for Undergraduate Research. https://www.lib.umd.edu/libraryaward As you are working on your research papers now, please consider submitting your final outstanding paper for one of the three $1,000 awards UMD Libraries offer to you this year. Win $1,000 for your research project completed in the calendar year of 2017! Designed to promote the value of library services and information, up to three awards will be given to University of Maryland undergraduates who dazzle librarians with their research. Applications must include an essay, the research paper or project itself, and a letter of support from a sponsoring professor or librarian. Applications are due by noon on February 15, 2018.
