Subject: Develop your leadership sills this semester! Description: The registration deadline for these great leadership opportunities is coming up- Sunday, February 25th by 11:59 pm. Terrapin Leadership Insitute (TLI) is a leadership development program building your leadership confidence and tangible skills that can be applied to everyday life. Over five weeks, you’ll participate in hands-on activities and critical dialogue with a group of 20-30 peers. TLI takes place weekly from Feb. 27- April 5th with a variety of session times to choose from. Intro Tracks : Tuesdays, 5:30-7:00 pm Wednesdays, 4:30-6:00 pm Thursdays, 5:30-7:00 pm Thursdays, 6:30-8:00 pm (College Park Scholars) Plus Track: Tuesdays, 7:00-8:30 pm Student Org Leader Track: Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30 Visit go.umd.edu/tli18 for details and registration. Maryland Leadership Advance (MLA) is a one-day conference for advanced leaders with significant prior leadership roles and responsibilities. Participants will examine topics related to sustaining leadership and developing others’ leadership. Advance takes place in the Stamp on Saturday, March 10, 9am to 4pm. Curriculum and activities allow participants to evaluate the temptations of leadership, debunk leadership myths, and explore personal barriers towards change while looking towards leadership in professional and community settings outside of UMD.
