Subject: Scribeamerica opening in Rockville, MD Description: My name is Juhye Kang and I am a chief scribe for ScribeAmerica at the Shady Grove Medical Center in Rockville, MD. We are currently looking to hire and train several capable individuals to join our site as emergency medical scribes. This is a valuable experience for any student seeking to pursue a career in the medical field, allowing one to play an active role in a dynamic emergency department while working directly alongside an experienced physician or physician assistant. As the emergency department provides first-line care, our scribes see a vast range of cases that involve numerous specialties. We also have a dedicated pediatrics emergency unit, allowing our scribes to experience the intricacies involved in caring for younger patients. This position pays $11.50 per hour, which includes all required trainings. We are primarily seeking individuals who can work full time (36+ hours or 4-5 shifts per week) for at least a year, but will also consider part-time candidates available for 2 years.
