Are you passionate about social, political, and economic issues affecting the world today? Do you want to take the knowledge you gain in class outside the classroom? Interested in connecting with communities in and outside of our region? AW is for you! Alternative Weekends teams engage in critical reflection, education and service before, during and after immersion trips working with communities across the globe. As a participant, you'll develop lasting relationships, critical thinking and leadership skills, and a passion to create a socially just world.
