Subject: Full-time medical scribe position Description: A full-time position will be available in July 2018 for a Medical Scribe for a Neurologist in a busy, fast-paced office. http://centerforbrainmd.com/. We are seeking an intelligent candidate who can work positively and cooperatively amidst a stressful and most unique environment. You NEED to have proficient typing and computer skills and MUST be a team player. Medical expertise, experience in a neurology practice, and knowledge of medical terminology are preferred but not required. Training will be available, however being a fast learner is key to this position. A one year employment commitment is needed. What we expect from you: responsibility, confidence, maturity, punctuality, ability to multitask and self motivation. Things that will help you succeed: A passion for medicine, the ability to balance work and school, and computer skills (a Must) for electronic charting. Mature sophomores can benefit throughout college. Also people taking time off before Medical, PA, or NP school are favored, and the opportunity is highly beneficial to the applicant. (Scribe hours are counted towards clinical training for PA school.) What to expect: hard work demanded every shift and an unlimited learning curve. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
