A post-doctoral position is available at The University of Texas at Austin, co-sponsored by the Energy Institute, the McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering and industry partners. The project involves the study of dense energy carriers, and will focus on analyzing from an economic point of view current and/or future pathways for producing liquid fuels. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in process design, process modeling, simulation and optimization, and excellent communication skills. A PhD in Chemical Engineering or related field is required. The position is available immediately; the initial appointment will be for one year, and may be extended based on performance and the availability of funding.
