The Penn State Libraries (my employer) has posted the positions below -- two Diversity Resident Librarians (three-year fixed-term faculty positions). I wanted to share the description with you all because successful candidates will focus their time in a single strategic area. One of the choices is Copyright and Scholarly Communication, which would mean working in a department with two J.D. copyright librarians. We hope this would be a great opportunity both for J.D.s and non-J.D.s alike. The position requires an ALA-accredited masters or the equivalent -- candidates with a J.D. only are encouraged to apply, especially within the Copyright and Scholarly Communication focus area.
Other focus areas that might be of interest to this crowd are Open Publishing and Open Educational Resources as well as Repository and Data Curation Services.
Please note the following instructions from the posting, "Please identify one or more of these areas of interest in your cover letter and address all required qualifications in your documentation."
If you are interested, please apply. If you know qualified candidates who might be interested, please forward this posting to them.
