Subject: Faculty Research Assistant Description: Faculty Research Assistant University of Maryland at College Park Department of Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics Location: College Park, Maryland located within the Washington D.C. beltway A Faculty Research Assistant position is available immediately (May 2019) to assist the research program that includes pathogenesis, signaling, and immune response related to pseudomonal diseases. Successful candidates must have a B.S. degree in microbiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology or a related area with aGPA 3.2 or higher. The appointee shall be capable of assisting in research under the direction of the head of a research project and shall have ability and training adequate to the carrying out of the particular techniques required, the assembling of data, and the use and care of any specialized apparatus. Applicants interested in pursuing graduate school and are looking for additional research experience are preferred. The appointment will be made for one year.
