Subject: UTA position in MATH135 Description: The Biological Sciences Program is seeking to hire an undergraduate teaching assistant in MATH135. This UTA will lead two one-hour discussions in activities and exercises that apply the math concepts learned in MATH135 to biology related problem sets. The duties include: lead two one-hour discussions per week. The discussions meet Wed's one at 8am and one at 9am. Attend lectures as available, proctor lecture exams, and help to grade lecture exams. The lecture meets TuTh2pm - 3:15 The TA would have taken at least one of: MATH130, MATH131 OR MATH135 and earned a grade of B or better. The TA also would have taken BSCI170 & BSCI160 with grades of B or better. Compensation for the work is $1500.00.
