My name is Sophie Alpert and I am the University Relations Chair for Terp
Thon 2019-2020. Terp Thon raises money year round for Children’s National
Hospital. We host a variety of events throughout the year, including our 12
hour Dance Marathon.

On September 14, we are hosting our first major event of the year, our Life
in Color 5k that will be hosted on McKeldin Mall at 10:30 am.

This a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the UMD campus and impact the
patients and families at Children's National Hospital.

I invite you to join us on September 14 to unite the UMD community For The
