And Mary Cain Department of Chemical Engineering College of Engineering Louisiana State University Applications are invited for an Assistant Professor position in the Cain Department of Chemical Engineering at Louisiana State University. We invite applicants with a doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering (or closely related field) from recognized institutions and a proven record of academic accomplishment. The broad research areas of interest include: chemical manufacturing, process control, process synthesis, process analytics and design, smart manufacturing, optimization, process modeling, process systems engineering, and process intensification. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to teaching courses in chemical engineering and to build a strong research program through independent and collaborative work.
