Subject: UMD Global Dental Brigades: 2021 Telebrigade App Extension to this Friday, September 18th Description: Global Brigades postponed all in-person brigades until March 2021, so the UMD Chapter of Global Dental Brigades has decided to replace our in-person brigade with a Telebrigade this year. The Telebrigade will be fully virtual, however, we will still be able to shadow doctors in real-time and work with patients. The brigade will still be over the span of a week during winter break, but there will only be 1-2 sessions per day and each session will be around 1-2 hours and up to 3 hours for our clinic days. We should note, however, that unlike our past dental brigades, the Telebrigade is a medical brigade that will include dental care along with other health care practices.
