Description: UNICEF UMD is a new student organization partnered with the UNICEF campus initiative, whose mission is to promote college student participation in education, advocacy and fundraising activities to support children in-need, locally and worldwide on behalf of UNICEF USA. The UNICEF Campus Initiative is a growing grassroots movement rooted in the belief that college students have a vital role to play in helping the world's children survive. For each of our monthly themes, like Civic Duty, Hygiene & Sanitation, and Women's Rights, we focus on improving the health, nutrition, education, and general welfare of children.
