Subject: Research Technician Position Available with the Zhu Lab at Children’s National Medical Center Description: Research Associate/Assistant positions are available with the Yuan Zhu Lab at the Center for Cancer and Immunology Research at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. We are looking for a candidate with a BS in Biology or a related medical research specialization. The starting date is flexible to accommodate soon-to-be graduates. Applicants with experience and interest in cancer biology, genetics, neuroscience, and childhood diseases are preferred. Once hired, the applicant will collaborate with experimental and clinical labs to study a variety of biological and biomedical problems related to Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1)-associated brain tumor and the role of neural stem cells in low- and high-grade glioma/glioblastoma. Applicants familiar with or interested in bioinformatics will collaborate with bioinformatics team to study cancer genomics data and identify predictive biomarkers or drug targets.
