Senior Senator seeks experienced archivist to manage records stored in Washington, DC, state offices and their repositories. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, sorting, cataloging, preserving and managing a very large collection of paper and electronic records, a large number of awards, memorabilia, special media, etc. Individual will work with the Senator’s chosen repository to identify records of historical prominence and prepare records for transmittal. Ideal candidate will be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, be efficient, work well independently, and preferably have previous experience with large Congressional collections.
