Subject: IDEA258C: Designing Ethical Campaigns Description: Have you ever wondered how to strategically contribute to a cause you care about and how to convince others to care as well? Consider taking IDEA258C (a 1 credit course) in the fall! Throughout the semester students will be able to apply their knowledge to designing a campaign that can make tangible differences, but stay true to their core values. We will explore various scenarios and hold discussions on ethics to help you better understand the different components of running an ethical campaign. Our assignments and activities will allow for students to have hands-on engagement with different target audiences at UMD to create and test their own ethical campaigns. The course is open to any majors, not just those in political science! IDEA258C will be held on Thursdays from 2 PM-3:30 PM in ESJ.
