Subject: Summer Research at the UM School of Medicine Description: University of Maryland Scholars Summer Research Program (UM Scholars) A summer at the University of Maryland School of Medicine The University of Maryland Scholars Summer Research Program (UM Scholars) http://www.medschool.umaryland.edu/osr/um_scholars at the School of Medicine is an exciting opportunity for UMCP students who are interested in biomedical research. Students will be immersed in research during the summer at the University of Maryland School of Medicine at UMB, the Baltimore campus, and mentored by the School of Medicine faculty members renowned in their fields. A wide range of research projects in biomedical and health service fields are available depending on interest. The UM Scholars program includes a variety of enrichment activities that deepen the students’ understanding of biomedical research, introduce them to different academic and career paths, and connect them with like-minded peers including medical students and other health professional students. A stipend of $4,500 will be provided.
