Subject: Apply to Join One for the World Executive Board Description: Do you want to help end Global Poverty? Join One for the World (OFTW)! OFTW is a non-profit organization that uses a rigorous, data-driven approach to build a portfolio of the most effective charities in the world. OFTW then encourages students to pledge to donate 1% of their post-grad income to these selected charities in order to help end extreme poverty. As a member of the Executive Board for the 2022 Academic Year, you will be part of the second e-board to support the UMD OFTW chapter and have a direct impact on the creation of our community. It is an amazing opportunity to get involved with an organization that is truly making a difference while also gaining valuable communication, leadership, and sales experience and benefiting from the large professional network of OFTW chapters (from Harvard to UVA to UPenn!).
