Subject: MedServe Information Session Description: MedServe places future healthcare professionals in “rock star” primary care clinics across rural and other medically underserved communities in North Carolina. Fellows work in both a clinical role (e.g. as a medical assistant) and community role (e.g. as a health coach). Fellowship Perks include 1600+ clinical hours experience, a 2 Week Training Institute in Chapel Hill, NC at UNC SOM, personalized med school application prep and support, quarterly trainings across the state (in Charlotte, Asheville and Greenville), and a yearly stipend + education award.
