Subject: Student Volunteers Needed: MSDA Chesapeake Dental Conference Description: My name is Alexandra Fitzgerald (UMD alum - BSCI, UMSOD alum). I am the Chair of the Maryland State Dental Association's New Dentist Committee and in a few weeks, will begin my term as President-elect. I am helping to plan the Chesapeake Dental Conference and would love to have pre-dental students attend as volunteers. The Maryland State Dental Association’s annual Chesapeake Dental Conference (CDC) will take place on September 8-10, 2022 at Maryland Live! Casino & Hotel in Hanover, MD. We are seeking student volunteers to assist at the conference as room monitors, speaker hosts and conference assistants on each day. We currently have a major need for volunteers on Thursday and Friday. Student volunteers are able to attend the CDC for FREE and have access to the following: Complimentary breakfast & lunch Free attendance to the Kick-Off Reception, President's Dinner, & New Dentist After Party An opportunity to attend Continuing Education courses Access to the Exhibit Hall and all of the vendors If you are available and interested in volunteering, please complete a volunteer registration form (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf7QISHSTsIoLPtdaL21Wny0Xd9KzZ_rlQXr8x0PEu7DAmaRw/viewform). We will try to assign you to your preferred courses. However, we may request that you assist in other areas of the conference as needed. Please be advised that wearing face masks is encouraged while attending and volunteering at the CDC. All volunteers must attend the CDC Pre-Conference Prep meeting on September 1st at 6:30 PM EST.
