Terps for Change is committed to connecting the university with the local community through sustained, collaborative, and meaningful community service-learning. By exploring the root causes through critical reflection and meaningful weekly dialogues, we seek to better understand the systemic complexities of social issues and the action steps we can take to address them.

Terps for Change is an eight-week, semesterly program for undergraduate students in which volunteers, led by student coordinators, who visit a local site to perform hands-on community service once a week. Volunteers also participate in weekly facilitated dialogues that focus on team-building, social issues education, identity, inclusion nd more.
Our program engages with 10 different community partners focused on a variety of social issues, listed below. You can learn more about our community partners on our website.
