Integrated Cellular and Molecular Diagnostics (ICMD) is seeking a part-time laboratory assistant 4-5 hours per day, Monday-Friday. Responsibilities will primarily be to utilize pre-existing systems, tools, and spaces to file and effectively manage the organization of thousands of slides and paraffin blocks; and to assist in consult materials send-out requests and consult materials returns. This is a paid position. Hours of report are flexible based on the needs of the applicant, as long as tasks are adequately performed daily. Seeking an applicant willing/available to work for at least six months (permitting unforeseen circumstances). Must be available between semesters and over breaks from school, aside from scheduled vacation or illness.
