Hello, Team BCIPRO is inviting you to participate in a study aimed to help
advance research in Brain-Computer Interface Prosthetics. We are a 4th year
Gemstone research team at UMD

*What is the study about:* UMD’s Gemstone Research Team, BCIPRO, aims to
develop a cost-effective, non-invasive Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) which
will collect and translate brain signals into movement of an upper-limb
prosthetic.
*What will you do: *An EEG device will be used to record electrical signals
while you perform some hand exercises, such as gripping and finger flexes.
*Where:* The Atlantic Building (ATL) at UMD
*Who can participate: *You are eligible to participate in this study if you
1) are a healthy individual with no history of seizures, 2) are at least 18
years old, 3) can spare one 30 to 60 minute session, 4) are right hand
dominant, 5) have no injury nor condition that limits hand exercises
required by the study, 6) will not have consumed recreational drugs or
alcohol within 24hrs of testing, and 7) will not have braids or other
protective styles during testing.
*Compensation: *$10.00 credit in Terrapin Express account and an optional
additional $50.00 credit for 3 raffle winners
