College Mentors for Kids is a volunteer-based organization that pairs college students of all years and majors with elementary school students from Title I schools in a one-on-one mentoring relationship. Once a week, we engage in on-campus activities to promote personal growth for both the college students and children.
Activities are centered around higher education & career development, community service, and culture & diversity. For example, we’ve done an activity geared towards career development about what it means to be an architect and built card-board houses.
Have you had a valuable mentor in your life- maybe a parent, older sibling or other person to guide you? This is your chance to now serve as a mentor yourself!
