Are you interested in quantum computing and technology? Do you want to learn

more about quantum mechanics and its range of applications?

The Undergraduate Quantum Association is UMD's only organization for

undergrads interested in the fields of quantum science and technology! We

provide a space for students passionate or interested in learning more about

quantum physics, computing, technology, information science, etc.

UQA connects students with UMD’s quantum-related resources and

organizations. We host events focusing on quantum science including quantum

hackathons, lab tours, speaker series etc. We are research and career

focused. Our goal is to build a community of students that can communicate with faculty

and together build a diverse network ready to explore the field of quantum

science.

Our first meeting is 6-7 pm Feb 6. We hold meetings weekly at 6:00 pm in Toll 2208. Message us at [log in to unmask] if you have any questions. Also, check out our discord here for announcements about meetings, events, opportunities, and more!
