Hey Everyone, Thank you to everyone who came to our GBM or study session meeting last week! It was so nice to see all of you! For this week’s UQA plan, our GBM on Monday, February 20th from 6 - 7 pm in Toll 2208 will be a talk on Industrialization in Quantum by guest speaker Dr. Ronald Walsworth. Dr. Walsworth is a professor at UMD and is the director of the Quantum Technology Center! This week’s bi-weekly meeting will be our first Quantum Steampunk Book Club meeting on Wednesday, February 22 at 5:15 pm. We’ll be discussing Quantum Steampunk, a book that relates Quantum thermodynamics and steampunk written by Dr. Nicole Yunger Halpern from NIST and QuICS. The first 10 people to sign up and attend the first meeting get a physical copy of the book from us! Hope to see everyone soon!
