Description: The Mixed Monologues event is a reoccurring event each Multiracial Heritage Month. This year the event will involve a creative writing workshop led by Rasha Alkhateeb, a second-year PhD student in Literary Education at the University of Maryland. This workshop will involve diving into identity through writing, along with interrogating one's positionality in relation to different forms of oppression. Students will have the chance to share some of their pieces following the workshop via an open mic monologue event.
RSVP: *Registration for this event is capped at 10 people to ensure that the space is intimate enough for thorough workshopping of written works.  *Food will be provided for all participants!
