Thursday, March 28th 2024

6pm-8pm

RSVP HERE NOW!

Join us for a conversation with veteran women from the Black Panther Party as they reflect on moments highlighted in the book Comrade Sisters: Women of the Black Panther Party written by Ericka Huggins and Stephen Shames. They will be sharing their personal herstory narratives, the trajectory into how they became members of an organization that was more than 65% female, and what was learned along the a way.

After Q&A, there will be a silent auction and book signing, as well as an appeal for donations to our Cuban Kids Count Too! Campaign. The event will be in-person and live streamed.

This event is a fundraiser for Cancer Medicines for children in Cuba who cannot access vital medicines due to the U.S. Blockade.
